That’s also how I love to treat my guests at home. I want people to feel welcome, warm, and they can make my space their own. Creating a safe zone for everyone is super important to me.

T5 and Maggie lost power and took refuge at The Farm for a few days in September. K8’s friends always leave 5-star reviews after staying at 38! Lounging in the Gryffindor common room, shooting hoops, chilling on the wrap-around porch, and getting the best sleep ever in the guest room.

Maggie, as always, was the perfect guest. She stayed from Tuesday to Friday—sleepovers, being silly, co-working, going on adventures, and obsessing over our new Stanley cups! We had some deep convos, and it’s such a blessing she’s my neighbor again.

You know it’s real love when you can sit and binge Secret Lives of Mormon Wives together and both yell, “Ewww!”

Thanks for coming over, Maggie! You’re always welcome! And to all the Friends of Lava Bro, you can always crash at The Farm or 38 too. Can’t wait to visit K8 and 🧬 [k8knitzgink.com], sell crafts with K8 on November 3 at Eastern Market, get our annual Halloween reading from 🧬 (even though we’ve already made him do it 3x this year), and then host the best Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving ever!

They might not make an impact, but these wins? They're the rizz to leveling up. So, let’s celebrate our accomplishments and manifest for the week ahead. 

  • Sierra treated herself to a manicure after a long work week

  • Kennedy’s first event went well

  • Morgan found a heart shaped Petoskey stone & organized her Tupperware drawer

  • Brooke (mini friend) drew Lava Bro and a beautiful butterfly

  • Stephon had on-field access for the Washington Commanders game

  • B found a place to get a manicure at 6 PM on a Sunday

  • Maggie spent 3 nights at The Farm

  • Gink & King Bob got a rowing machine & had their first Autumn fire pit

  • K8 & 🧬 cut birch branches for stems on my knit pumpkins
