Let’s go Lions!! Come on MCDC (Motor City Dan Campbell, the head coach), take us to the Super Bowl!

It’s game day!!! King Bob and I have been waiting about 8 months for this (longer than we even waited for Xander).

We (King Bob, K8 & I) love watching the Lions play. We immerse ourselves in Lions stuff all week, listening to press conferences, watching practice footage, and high-fiving strangers in Lions gear around town. This year we’re especially fired up. Not only because our lil’ cute dude, Xan Man, gets to cheer with us, but because Detroit seems sharper, hungrier, tougher. Last season the Lions led the league in scoring and were top five in many offensive rankings. Now they have Jameson Williams locked in long term, Aidan Hutchinson fully cleared, and everyone knows what is at stake. This season feels like the one.

And with football season comes fall. Pumpkin spice lattes, apple and pumpkin picking, chilly nights, and fresh new k8knitz to keep us warm. It’s the best time of the year, made even better by cheering on the Lions together as a family.
