WE HAVE A NEW LAVA BRO EMPLOYEE!! CAN’T WAIT TO OUTFIT HIM IN COMPANY MERCH.

He arrived at 11:20am on 8/22/2025, weighing 4 lbs 1 oz and measuring 18 in tall.
He came 8 weeks earlier than expected but is the sweetest little baby. He’s doing really well as a preemie.

I’m so excited he’s here. It was really scary when the hospital told me he was coming early. I hadn’t packed my hospital bag or finished my birth plan. I wasn’t prepared to give birth at 32 weeks and had no idea what to expect.

No one really talks about what happens when a baby comes early. I hadn’t even thought about it. When I chose a hospital, I only pictured him arriving close to his due date. But when the time came, they had to transfer me because the NICU was on strike. I ended up at a different hospital with new doctors. Thankfully, it turned out to have the best NICU in the region. Looking back, I probably would have chosen it from the start if I had considered the possibility of early delivery. In the end, everything worked out.

While Xander enjoys his NICU spa stay, his doctors and nurses reminded me not to stop living life completely. They told me to still do things I enjoy and have fun, both for myself and to prevent postpartum depression.

So we dragged 🧬 downtown with us to stay at the David Whitney Hotel. Our room even had the same wallpaper as K8’s house, which cracked us up. We all ate Buddy’s Pizza, and I finally got to have their legendary antipasto salad after missing cold cuts for seven months. After that, Myst, K8, and I went to the Marshmello / Jonas Brothers concert. It was such a good time, and Marshmello even fired off a confetti cannon.

Now my little man is here, I’ve already hit my Marshmello quota for the year, and 2025 is shaping up to be eventful. I cannot wait for Xander to come home to the farm.

F1 came back from summer break with Piastri in full control, leading every lap like the ending was already decided. Norris and Leclerc wound up in the grass, helmets off, just watching it all happen. Sometimes you are not the main character, you are just in the audience.

Lando is 34 points behind with nine races left for the World Driver’s Championship. If he wins five and Piastri stays behind, the title flips.

The photos of Norris and Leclerc were so 🔥 I might have to change my iPhone lock screen.

Isack Hadjar’s first podium came 170 days after the disaster of his F1 debut.

Bryce Underwood made his Michigan debut, throwing for 251 yards and a touchdown, the most ever by a true freshman QB in their first start. He even graded himself a C-plus, but from the way he commanded the offense, it felt more like the start of something big.
