I had the perfect girls' weekend with Sierra, and it was exactly what I needed!

We headed to Grand Rapids for the Breakaway Music Festival—a weekend full of fun and friendship. On Friday, we started with some delicious tapas (Sierra is always game to try interesting food with me!). We went to the festival on Friday just to see Bob Moses so we could run around yelling, “YAY! BOB!!!” Then we decided to save our energy for Saturday, so we spent the evening catching up and indulging in some much-needed girl talk, then went to an after-party.

Saturday kicked off with a coffee hunt, where we found a Starbucks and got K8 to mobile order for me (Best Sister Ever!). We followed that with a seafood lunch, joking about a guy from the night before who looked like a Temu version of one of our favorite DJs.

As we walked back to the hotel, Sierra suddenly pointed and said, “Why does that guy look like T5 with long hair?” Surprise—it really was T5! Hola, random man on the street. He invited us to a tiki bar, and we ended up hanging out with Maggie (who was on the phone the whole time, lol). It was totally spontaneous and so much fun!

After our goodbyes to T5 and Maggie, we got ready for night two of the festival. It was unforgettable! Alison Wonderland brought the energy, but Marshmello’s set was pure magic—the lasers, fireballs, and fireworks made for an epic finale. I’ll never get tired of seeing Marshmello live, and it was even more special because it was Sierra’s first Marshmello show!

This girls’ trip was everything I could’ve asked for and more. I’m so thankful Sierra invited me—it was perfect in every way.
