I wish the 4th of July was on a Friday every year. This holiday weekend, King Bob and I got a lot done! Having Friday off was such a gift. Nothing is better than a really long weekend.

On Friday, I was lucky enough to watch Joey Chestnut crush it at the 4th of July hot dog eating contest. I called K8 and 🧬 while watching him absolutely destroy the competition , so it felt like we were watching together. It’s amazing to see him be 20 hot dogs ahead of everyone. My whole street was lit up with fireworks and fireflies!

Meanwhile, K8 hosted a BBQ with Friend and Mini Friend, complete with a hamburger cake, before watching the fireworks!

On Saturday, I got to have breakfast at Tony’s, where they give you a pound of bacon with every meal. Then in the evening, I enjoyed my own hot dogs and ice cream with King Bob and Sierra!

Today, King Bob and I cleaned up the house a little and finally hooked up the new house robot. This new robot vacuum also mops! King Bob named this one “The Housekeeper.” The farm’s floor hasn’t looked this good since the maid died! (Shout out to K8 for always supplying us with the best Christmas gifts!)

As we’re in the second half of the year and getting ready to welcome the little one, we have a lot to look forward to and a lot to do!

K8 will be here in less than a week!

Nico Hülkenberg, 37, finally took his first Formula 1 podium today at the British Grand Prix after 239 race starts! Starting 19th, he climbed to third in tricky wet conditions. This result ended his long record without a podium and gave Sauber its first top-three finish in 13 years. A reminder to keep going, trust your journey, and know your moment will come.
