As summer officially comes to an end, I always feel like this is a good time to reflect on the year so far. Take a moment to pause and reset mentally as we transition seasons. Get ready for all the fall colors, cooler days, and crisp nights—throw some logs on the fire pit to welcome in the season!

I’m hoping to sneak in the last 2 or 3 camping trips before it’s freezing!

K8’s been knitting a lot lately, prepping for cozy season, and we’re swapping out summer clothes for layers. It’s the perfect time to make sure we have the right leggings and jackets for the next couple of months. I think I need a new jacket. Reply with your suggestions?!

And as we’ve talked about in past newsletters, football season is officially here! GO LIONS! JA-RED GOFF!!

I’m also thinking about getting a crockpot cookbook to try some new game-day dishes. Today, King Bob and I made salsa—not a crockpot dish, but still something new!

It’s that in-between time when it’s too early to decorate for Halloween. So, let’s embrace the oversized sweatshirt and shorts weather, start planning for the holidays, patiently wait for the gorgeous fall colors, and see what comes next!
