Been deep as a creative lead on a couple of projects that activated at Super Bowl and NBA All-Star Weekend ^{(Woo, Sports!)}, both centered around small businesses getting their shine.

First up, the Small Business Clubhouse at Super Bowl Experience—Visa and Chase Ink turned Super Bowl Weekend into a space where small businesses could show up, show out, and sell out. SNO-LA and Our Spare Change ran through their samples, while fans jumped into the Small Biz Blitz, a game mixing entrepreneurship with football plays, and the MVP Studio podcast/sportscaster-style photo op. Jayden Daniels, Victor Cruz, and Bijan Robinson stopped by the meet & greet, making it even more of a moment.

Then there was the NBA Foundation Pitch Competition, where small businesses got their All-Star moment. Just like the game, it was all about talent, strategy, and showing up when it mattered—only here, the scoreboard was funding and new opportunities. No gimmicks, no distractions, just entrepreneurs going head-to-head for real chances to level up.

At NBA Crossover, the competition came full circle with a booth highlighting the seven businesses that participated and the ongoing work of the NBA Foundation. Same high stakes, different kind of highlight reel.

Two big weekends, two different ways of creating space for small businesses to thrive. Pushing through the chaos, trusting the process, and letting the work speak—stressful, but always worth it.
