I am the head of a really important project at work! I have never really been counted on for anything this big before. I am really honored and worried about it.

During a meeting this week, I was asked if I knew the difference between two kinds of drawings, and I nervously had to admit that I am not an engineer. Once the edits are done, I honestly have no idea what I am looking at. I thought maybe I was going to get in trouble, but instead the whole room cracked up laughing. I really like what I do. I’m proud of my work!

Turns out you do not have to know everything to be trusted. You just have to keep showing up and stay curious.

K8 has been showing up too. She is building creative strategy across music, sports, and tech. Some days she is writing brand stories. Other days she is figuring out how to build a photo booth in a football stadium or creating entire email journeys from scratch. It is wild. I have no idea how any of it works, but it is definitely what she was made for.

Neither of us has it all figured out. We just keep moving forward. And somehow, it keeps working.
