June 26 was my birthday, and June 27 I took every meeting in a bouncy house. Twelve hours of bouncing straight. B came over, neighbors dropped by. Felt like a princess in her castles: bouncy house and real house.

The moon’s been shifting from waxing to waning right as June flips to July, and it has big “time to chill” energy. Like the universe is handing you permission to stop sprinting, check in with yourself, and coast into summer mode. Sleepier, softer vibes incoming. Today also marks the halfway point of the year, so check in on your goals. Don’t worry if you haven’t accomplished even one. You still have time. Kate and I went to the Hamptons for reading by the pool, which was definitely on my list for this year.

Today is Franz Kafka Day, named for his diary entry on July 1 that simply says “too tired.” A good reminder that sometimes that’s all you need to say.
