NEW EMPLOYEE UPDATE!

Xander is doing great!

As you all know, our little man arrived early. He’s been in the NICU, and tomorrow is his one-month birthday!

He has graduated off the CPAP machine and onto wall air. Next up is being completely off air, which should happen in the next few days. He also got his Hep B vaccine today.

Right now, he’s taking about 55% of his feeds through the bottle, which is really impressive for a 36-week preemie.

I’ve been bringing my computer to the NICU so I can work while hanging out with him during the day. He has already attended four meetings and even spoke up in at least two of them. Hopefully, he’s a future engineer or lineman!

This week I got a really nice hoodie in the mail from Lava Bro. It says “Sundays are for football,” which is perfect since the Lions usually play on Sunday, but this week they are playing on Monday.
